Carolina

Hey there! My name is Carolina Guske, and I am originally from São Paulo, Brazil. My family moved to Houston, TX one day after my 11th birthday, and we lived there for about a year before planting our roots in Nashville, TN. My husband Kyle and I met at Independence High School and started dating our senior year. Fast forward and we have been together for 13 years and married for 7. We have a daughter named Blair, who turns 4 in June and our furry daughter Jessie who is 7.

I graduated from Belmont University with a double major in Marketing and Management, and came back for more, receiving my MBA with a concentration in Marketing. Go Bruins! I am still involved with my alma matter through the inaugural year of the Purpose Mentorship program- where I have the honor of mentoring college students in truly finding not just their career of choice, but their true purpose beyond accolades.

As for my career, I am District Manager for ALDI (caw caw to those of you who are avid fans…IYKYK), and love what I do and the teams I serve. I assumed my first District in the Memphis market, where we lived from 2016-2021.  Now, I am proud to be over the Murfreesboro and Spring Hill, TN regions in the Nashville market.

Between a fast-paced career and motherhood, caffeine is my rock (well, and my husband of course). I am addicted to coffee and caffeine, and my daily drink of choice from Starbucks is a Grande shaken espresso with blonde shots, no classic syrup, one pump of white mocha, three pumps of sugar free vanilla, 2% milk and extra ice. Most days just one is not enough.

Chrissy-NM

Chrissy

Hi! My name is Chrissy. I live in the sweet, small town of Nolensville. I’m married to Aaron, and we have 3 kids- 2 boys: Cale & Casey who are 15 & 12, and a 4-year-old girl, Ella Grace. We moved here 4.5 years ago from the Memphis area, and have fallen in love with this area. At least once a week I ask myself, ” Do I really get to live here?”  We love to be outside, trying out new hiking trails, or finding fun places to eat. I’m from Florida originally and miss the beach tremendously, but we try to get back there once or twice a year.

I’m the person people ask to lead things because they know I’ll say yes. I’m recovering from an extremely busy, chaotic season, and learning to slow down and enjoy the moment. I love to read, write, and make things. I believe most things can be solved by a long walk or good cup of coffee.

I work for our church and can’t believe I get paid to do ministry. It’s a dream- I get to share my faith and walk alongside other people doing the same. I am also a licensed life coach & certified Enneagram coach. I write at www.chrissynhuffman.com about a mixture of coaching, motherhood, and encouragement.

Polman Family

Cassidy

Hey mamas! I’m Cassidy. I was born in Nashville and after several years of being in the foster care system I was adopted by a family from East Tennessee where I grew up (with the exception of a few wonderful years in wild West Virginia!). I received an associate degree from Roane State Community College and found my way back to Nashville to attend Middle Tennessee State University where I graduated with a liberal arts degree concentrating in English literature.

After graduating college, I decided to jump into the aviation industry and become a flight attendant. I flew for two major airlines over the course of seven years. Traveling across the United States and several places around the world gave me the unique opportunity to learn about people in ways I never had before. It taught me lessons that I will carry with me always. Still, no matter where I went, nothing was better than home.

I stopped flying when my husband and I welcomed our daughter in 2016. I stayed home to raise her and embarked on the biggest journey of my life, motherhood. My daughter is now ready for school, and I’m ready to return to my love for reading and writing. They say in life some things never change, but I’ve learned that most things do. Motherhood constantly changes me and teaches me. I hope to never stop learning.

Ashlee

Ashlee

Hello friends, I’m Ashlee!

In 2023 my family traded in our flip flops for cowgirl boots and made the move from the Alabama Gulf Coast to Nashville with my husband, (Ben), two girls (Collins and Quinn), our big fluffball (Lionald) and our humble turtle (Shelly). I went from an in-office setting literally on the beach, to a work-from home setting in the music city and could not be happier with the change. We love to shake things up, experience new things and enjoy new perspectives.

I am an extreme optimist, a daydreamer, a full time Marketing professional, a part-time writer, and a “whenever I can” adventurer! I like to think of myself as a free spirit, but realistically motherhood most often times binds me to a solid plan and scheduled days. I drink way too much caffeine and am a certified drink goblin (One for caffeine, one for hydration and one just for fun!)  Being a mom most oftentimes demands behaviors such as going out in public and being social, but my favorite place in the world is on my couch.

As a marketing professional I love telling stories. I enjoy sharing adventures, tips, tricks and my favorite mom-approved places to visit, experience, and see! I cannot wait to share my perspectives and opinions with this community and I look forward to connecting with other Nashville moms in our new home.

Megan-NM

Megan

Hi! I’m Megan – a fellow Nashville mama! Like so many others, I am a transplant to the Nashville area, but have lived here for 13 years so it definitely feels like home. I am originally from Pennsylvania and fell in love with Nashville during a college internship in 2005. After graduating college and gaining a few years of “real life” experience (a.k.a. my first professional job) I moved to Nashville in 2009 and promptly fell in love again…this time with my husband! We met on the first day of my job and I guess you could say the rest is history. We got married in 2012 and welcomed our first child, David, in 2019. We currently live in South Nashville, but will soon be residents of College Grove.

I recently made the decision to become a full-time SAHM after growing my career in the tourism industry for over seven years with Visit Franklin. I absolutely loved my job, but after having my son my heart changed. I decided, along with my husband’s full support, that the best thing for me and my family was to stay at home – a privilege I realize not everyone is given. Don’t get me wrong, there are days that feel like they will never end and all I want is the chance to finish one hot cup of coffee and (real talk) go to the bathroom in peace, but I’ll take those days because it means I get to soak up all the fun times and milestone moments.

I grew up dancing and continue to serve my passion for dance today as a founding member of Ignite Dance Co. (check us out on IG or FB)! I love to travel and am learning how to do it with an energetic toddler. Some of my favorite things include a really good bar of dark chocolate, reading, painting with watercolors, sugar-free vanilla lattes, shopping, cooking, baking and finding the perfect pair of jeans.

Stephanie NM

Stephanie

Hi, I’m Stephanie Adams! I was born in California, moved and raised in northern Indiana, lived in Chicago the past 7 years, and now a Nashville transplant since mid-2021.

I met my husband, Joe in college at Ball State University where I studied psychology and sport medicine. I then moved to Chicago to pursue a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Sport & Health Psychology while Joe finished his time at BSU. He eventually followed me to Chicago where we got married in 2019. After 7 years there we decided we were done with harsh winters! We only visited Nashville a couple of times before deciding to make it our next home and so far, it’s been great and we hope we can build our life here.

We became parents for the first time in January 2022 to our sweet girl, Willow. We enjoy being parents very much and love exploring the city for fun family activities!

In addition to being a new mom, I am a practicing mental health therapist currently specializing in perinatal/maternal mental health. I work for a wonderful private practice in Chicago (virtually) and hope we can open a similar practice here.

I’m so excited to be an ambassador for NM and I look forward to building a community with other moms and exploring this beautiful city.
