Alisha was born in raised in the DMV (DC-Maryland-Virginia) area and moved to Nashville to finish working on her degree in Child Development and Family Studies at MTSU. She has lived here for 22 years and has been married for 14 of those. She is the mother of 2 girls—ages 13 and 5—and wonders daily how they haven't strangled one another yet. Before becoming a work-at-home-mom, she worked for various non-profit agencies for 15 years. Alisha has an addiction to nail polish, LOVES wine, and can binge watch on Netflix with the best of them. Her youngest daughter was diagnosed with vitiligo last Summer, and her goal is to bring more awareness to this skin condition and work to help find a cure or cause.
