Happy Fall, Y’all! :: 2017 Guide to Pumpkin Patches in The Nashville Area!

It’s that time again! Can you believe it?! We’re back with our yearly round up of Nashville-area pumpkin patches! Our list has been edited to reflect which farms are no longer offering a pumpkin patch, as well as who is new to the line-up! AS ALWAYS with these guides—please remember that many of these businesses are working farms. Therefore, you should ALWAYS call ahead if you have concerns about the weather or possible closings. Amazing Acres of Fun

2857 Old Kentucky Road, North Sparta, TN

Need to Know: You can get your pumpkins—as well as your mums and fall ornamentals! Amazing Acres also includes corn mazes, animal petting, educational field trips, hayrides, and fall farm adventures!

Batey Farms

3250 Wilkinson Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37129

September 30th – October 30th;  Fridays – 4pm-11pm; Saturdays – 10am-11pm; Sundays – 1pm-8pm

Admission: Ages 10 and up – $8; Ages 4-9 – $5; Ages 3 and under – FREE

Need to Know: Reserve a campfire site! $50 for 2 hours – seating and wood provided! Feel free to bring food and skewers to make your own meal, or enjoy food from the concession stand!

Bottom View Farm

185 Wilkerson Lane, Portland, TN
September 24th – November 1st, 8 am — 4 pm daily
Admission: $10 for anyone 3 & up
Need to Know: They do offer teacher and student rates for field trips! The best time for the general public to visit is on the weekends since all activities will be up and running. If you plan to visit during the week, you should call first to see what’s open.

Boyds Pumpkin Patch

1425 Hwy 76, Clarksville, TN
September 30th – October 31st, 8:30am – 6pm daily
Admission for the corn maze: $4 for 6 years old & up
Need to Know: You pay for the pumpkins by the pound and these will run you 25 cents per lb.

Brown’s Holiday Farm

31E Hwy 1998, Gallatin, TN
2017 dates and pricing not available at time of publish.
Need to Know: Besides the normal fall festivities, this farm also boasts a fishing pond and animal tracking! The concession stand will be open every weekend!

Cedarwood Farms

6794 Nashville Hwy, McMinnville, TN
September 22nd – October 31st, Monday – Thursday, By appointment only; Fridays 8:30am – 10pm; Saturdays 9:30am – 10pm; & Sundays Noon – 5pm
Admission: $11 for 11 & up; $10 for 10 and under (checks and cash only!)

Need to Know: Once again, Cedarwood Farms will be offering weekend bonfires this year! Call to inquire about scheduling.

Cooper Trooper Foundation

The Corner of Cool Springs Blvd and Mallory Lane – 530 Cool Springs Blvd, Franklin
October 7th – October 31st, Sunday – Friday 10am – 7pm; Saturdays 9am – 8 pm
Admission: There is no admission fee for the pumpkin patch. 100% of proceeds go toward pediatric cancer research and sibling support.
Need to Know: The Cooper Trooper Foundation was founded in 2008 after Cooper Cook was diagnosed with cancer at 8 weeks old.  To date, this foundation has donated $150,000 towards the pediatric cancer research fun at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. (By the way, Cooper is now a happy and healthy little boy!)

Fiddle Dee Farms (Formerly Shuckles Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch)

7526 Swift Road, Greenbrier, TN
September 23rd- November4th, Thursdays open for group reservations from 9am — 1pm; Fridays open for group reservations 9am — 1pm; Open to the public from 4pm — 9pm. Saturdays 10am — 10pm; Sundays noon — 8pm
General Admission: $12.76 + tax; Children 2 and under: FREE. Military (with ID) and seniors (65 and up): $11.85 + tax.
Need to Know: There are several activities included with the general admission ticket! If you would like to experience some of the extras, those include face painting, paint ball and a zip line, just to name a few! Check the website for pricing!

Gentry Farm

1974 New Highway 96 West, Franklin, TN
September 30th  – October 30th,  Mondays 9am – noon; Saturdays: 9am to 5 pm; Sundays: 1pm  to 5pm
Admission: Free for pumpkin patch; $7/person for the activity area, ages 2-65
Need to Know: General Admission includes: Four acre cornfield, corn maze, hayrides, nature trail, playground, hands on barn, tire swings and more!

Grandaddys Farm

454 Highland Ridge Road, Estill Springs, TN
Opening September 16th – November 4th, Tuesdays – Thursdays 1:30pm – 6pm; Fridays

 1:30 – 9pm; Saturdays 9am – 9pm Admission: $10 for ages 3 & up (Opening Day is half price!)
Need to Know: Regardless of the pumpkin patch opening time, activities don’t open until after lunch!There are several themed weekends, including a pumpkin tasting and a costume day!

Harmony Farms

768 Hafner Road, Charlotte, TN
October 8th (closing date not noted) Saturdays 11am – 5pm; Sundays 1pm – 5pm
Admission: 2 and Under: Free; 2-65 $8; Current and retired military: $4.00; 65 & older: $4.00
Need to Know: Harmony Farms loves to host field trips, homeschool days and more! Make sure to book your group ahead of time for the best experience possible!

Honeysuckle Hill Farm

1765 Martins Chapel Church Road, Springfield, TN
September 23rd – November 4th, Tuesday-Thursday 9am to 2:00pm; Fridays 9am – 10pm); Saturdays 10am – 10pm; Sundays noon – 6pm
Admission: This year they have introduced multiple ticket packages, so check the website for a complete list!
Need to Know: Scream Creek Haunted Attractions are back! They will be open every Friday and Saturday in October. The first group enters at dark and the last ticket is sold at 11pm. Parents of little ones beware – this attraction is not recommended for children under 10.

Keller’s Corny Corner

542 Firetower Road, Dickson, TN
October 1st – October 31st, Saturdays 10am – 6pm; 3rd and 4th Sundays (15thh and 22nd) 10am – 6pm; Sunday October 29th – 10am-3pm Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: 9am – 2pm
Admission: $9 per person, children 2 & under are free; Free admission with ACTIVE military ID
Need to Know: October 7th admission will be FREE to celebrate their 10th anniversary!

Lucky Ladd Farms

4374 Rocky Glade Road, Eagleville, TN
September 20th – October 29th, Wednesday – Saturdays 10am – 6pm; Sundays noon – 5pm
Admission: Adults and Teens: $13; 2 – 12 years: $11; Children under 2: Free
Need to Know: In addition to the pumpkin picking, you can also enjoy pony rides for $5 per ride!

Lyon Family Farms

130 Bellview Road, Taft, TN
September 22nd (closing date not noted) Wednesday – Friday 2pm – 7pm; Saturdays a-6pm; Sundays 1-6pm
Admission: Weekends $12; Weekdays $10
Need to Know: Any guest who purchases a weekend admission in September receives a Bounce Back pass that is good for one free visit in October! 

Mrs. B’s Pumpkin Patch

1946 Murfreesboro Pike, Lebanon, TN
September 30th – October 29th, Saturdays 10am – 5pm; Sundays 11am – 5pm
Admission: $15 for ages 1-15; Adult admission is free! That includes the cost of a child’s pumpkin and all activities (excluding the concession stand and the pumpkin sling shot).
Need to Know: Other activities include face painting, a hay bale maze, and a bouncy house, to name a few! Group rates are available for groups of 15 or more.

Patterson Place Farms

2480 Patterson Road, Woodlawn, TN
2017 dates and pricing not available at time of publish.
Need to Know: Your little ones can have fun feeding the animals in the petting zoo!

Ring Farm

2628 Greens Mill Road, Columbia, TN
2017 dates and pricing not available at time of publish.
Need to Know: There are “haunted attactions,” but price of admission varies for which haunted activities you’re interested in, so be sure to check the website!

Walden Farm (My family’s favorite!)

8653 Rocky Fork Rd, Smyrna, TN
September 23rd – October 31st, Closed Wednesdays; Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays 3pm – 6:30pm; Saturdays 9am – 6:30pm; Sundays noon – 4pm
Admission: Free admission to the farm. Admission to the activity area is $4 person and $1 for the accompanying parent. Children under 2 are free. There is a list of other activities and pricing on the website.
Need to Know: Walden Farms is still our favorite! If you go, make sure to try the hayride and the corn maze! If you’re children are brave enough, send them through Creepy Corner and meet them on the other side!
