Fourth of July Events In Nashville

The Fourth of July is just around the corner! Now that we’re finally starting to return to some kind of normal, if you’re like us, you’re ready to get out and celebrate this summer. If you’re wondering where to enjoy some fireworks and celebration, look no further. Grab your picnic blanket, your portable fans, and your family — and get ready for music, fun, and fireworks!

Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th

This is the big one! From their website: “Celebrate Independence Day 2021 with headliner Brad Paisley during the FREE Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th event in Downtown Nashville. This 4th of July will feature the largest fireworks show in Nashville history with the pyrotechnics synchronized to a live performance by the GRAMMY-winning Nashville Symphony.”

Music City 4th of July 5k

Before the fireworks, start your day with a bang at the Music City 4th of July 5k and run through downtown Nashville!

Red, White, and Boom! With the Adventure Science Center

Celebrate the 4th of July at this family fun event at the Adventure Science Center. But act quick! Tickets are running low!

Nashville Sounds vs. Louisville Bats

What’s more American than baseball and hotdogs?! Not much. So enjoy the holiday with The Nashville Sounds. After the game, the kids get to run the bases!

Nolensville Star Spangled Celebration – July 3rd

If you want to avoid the crowds of downtown, head to the suburbs for Nolensville’s celebration! Located in the Nolensville Park, this event includes food vendors, inflatables, activities for the family, live entertainment, and fireworks.

Red, White, and Boom – Crockett Park, Brentwood

At the Eddie Arnold Amphitheater in the heart of Brentwood, you’ll get to enjoy live music and fireworks!

Independence Day Celebration – Franklin

Enjoy free entertainment followed by a fireworks show at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm.

15th Annual Nashville Hot Chicken Festival 

The FREE event is held in East Park on July 4th each year, and kicks off with a firetruck parade! Enjoy live music, local food, and of course, hot chicken!

Celebration Under the Stars – Murfreesboro

The City of Murfreesboro will present its annual fireworks display from a new location this year to celebrate Independence Day! Follow the link for more information.

Independence Day Celebration – Lavergne

Gates open at 5:30 pm, and music starts at 6:00 pm. Families are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs, as well as their own picnic dinners. Visitors may also dine from a selection of food vendors that will be onsite. The fireworks show will begin at dusk.

Independence Day Celebration – Smyrna – July 2nd

The Town of Smyrna’s Independence Day Celebration is set for Friday, July 2, 2021, at Lee Victory Recreation Park. Activities begin at 5:00pm, and the fireworks display begins at dark.

Cornerstone Church – Fourth of July Carnival

Inflatables, rock walls, and mini golf oh, my! This festival has it all. Make sure to bring your own folding chair to enjoy the live music and head to their website to see the full list of activities.

Freedom Festival of Hendersonville – July 3rd

Hendersonville’s Freedom Festival jump starts the patriotic celebrations of the 4th of July a day early with music, rides, and free admission!
