Whether you’re hoping to recreate your grandmother’s amazing pies, try our recipe for puffed stuffed apples, or you’ve got a yearning for homemade applesauce and apple butter, apple picking is sure to be a fun outing for the whole family. To help make life easier for you, we’ve put together a list of some of the best apple picking orchards within a two hour drive of our city. Grab some bags or baskets, pile into your mom car, and hit the road. To the surprise of many transplants, apple picking time is here in middle Tennessee!
