April 26 Make & Model– Subaru 360 Circle Celebration
You’re invited to celebrate Subaru and the circle! Learn all about anniversaries and the circle with a scavenger hunt in our 360° exhibit then create abstract anniversary art using found circles!
May 24 Race to Read– Book: Go Dog Go by P.D. Eastman, Activity: Traffic Lights, Game: Red Light/Green Light
June 28 Make & Model- Dan Auerbach: Rat-Rod Your Motorcycle
Explore a Rock star’s personal motorcycle collection to learn what rat-rod means and how it’s done. Next, create your own one-of-a-kind rat-rod motorcycle using unconventional materials!
July 26 Race to Read– Book: If I Built a Car, by Chris Van Dusen, Activity: Build-a-Car, Game: Car Races
Aug. 23 Make & Model- Eureka! What’s an Idea?
Discover an exhibit filled with strange and interesting vehicles sure to get your little one’s wheels turning! We introduce the importance of ideas and then get in the driver’s seat where we become the inventors of our own vehicles!
Sept. 27 Race to Read– Book: The Little Engine That Could, by Watty Piper, Activity: Name Trains, Game: Musical Train Cars
Lil’ Learning Lane programs are offered the third Thursday of the month and are free with admission! (5& under always free) programs are recommended for ages 3-5 and require an adult to be present.
*Lil’ Learning Lane programs can also be booked for preschool visits!
