Seen all the memes, videos, and posts about the “judgey mom” and worry that you might be one? Well, because we are so very helpful and live in the home of country music, we wanted to give you a quick Jeff Foxworthy-style checklist. Let us make it easy for you to determine if you are a (dun dun duuuun) judgey mom.
Sidenote: if you don’t know who Jeff Foxworthy is and need a good chuckle, look up “You Might Be a Redneck If…” on YouTube. You can thank me later.
If you have ever uttered (or typed) the phrase “I would never”. . . you might be a judgey mom.
If you roll your eyes when seeing the meals, outfits, toys, or (gasp!) TV shows other moms allow their children to enjoy? You might be a judgey mom.
If you have ever criticized the routine of a child (without being asked for advice) because it differs from yours? You might be a judgey mom.
If you have ever offered your opinion about a parents’ choices (vaccines, breastfeeding, formula feeding, sleep training, etc) without being asked . . . you might be a judgey mom.
