Here in Nashville, we’ve had a heckuva month. Tornado disaster followed by a pandemic has left many of us with the wind knocked out of us, not knowing which way is up. And all of a sudden? It’s Easter this weekend. There will be no big egg hunts at churches or the zoo, and no big family get togethers. But we all know that the Easter Bunny is an essential worker, right? And we Nashvillians know the importance of supporting each other — how else can we be #NashvilleStrong? So we’ve put together a list of local shops and businesses who are working hard to make it easier for Easter to show up at your home. Check it out, and send them (and your kids) some love.

Arose Balloon Co, that primarily specializes in delivering to the murals and other photo spots around town. But since we are all in quarantine, I wanted to come up with a way to make the kids’ Easter a little extra special. So I’ve put together an Easter Basket Bundle that includes 5 pastel balloons that will be delivered to your door, following all social distancing guidelines of course. The bundles are $20 each and will be delivered on Saturday April 11th between 3-6pm. Simply order through their website until Thursday April 9th.

The Painted Cupcake — Green Hills
The painted cupcake has been a lifesaver for me on previous occasions (ahem, my girl’s first birthday party when her dad had been hospitalized . . . ) Their treats are both beautiful and delicious, and I cannot recommend them enough. This year, they’re offering easter cookies, macarons, and cupcakes—all of which can be mailed directly or can be picked up curbside!
Nolensville Toy Shop — Nolensville
Nolensville Toy Shop is really going above and beyond putting together *so many* super cute Easter basket bundles for $29.99. You really have to go check out their Facebook page and see it for yourself. Call (615-819-2949) the shop Tues-Sat 10a-3p to order it for delivery!
