Nashville Moms Blog’s Father’s Day Gift Guide 2015

Fathers Day
It’s almost Father’s Day—what better way to celebrate that special father figure in your life than to spoil him with a gift or two? Here are my picks for awesome Father’s Day gifts in and around Nashville.

Trumaker – Custom Made Shirts & Blazers

My husband’s birthday was just a few weeks ago, and I had a Trumaker Outfitter come to our home and fit him for a custom made shirt. It was so much fun, and he totally loved it. He got to pick the fabric he wanted, collar & cuff type, pocket or no pocket and sleeve length. He even had his initials embroidered on the collar. This type of approach to dressing is really of another era. It’s all about making shirts that fit the customer—not about pumping out shirts to fit the masses. It was absolutely a great experience.

Trumaker has Outfitters all over the country. Here in Nashville, we used Colleen Weiss. She was fantastic. She was so professional and really made the fitting fun! Email her at [email protected] and tell her the Nashville Moms Blog sent you!

Card Wallet from Emil Erwin

We gave this wallet as a gift to a few of the guys that work with us this past holiday and everyone loved them. I highly recommend this gift! You can have them personalized with initials, and they are hand-made here in Nashville.

**Emil Erwin is offering all Nashville Moms Blog readers a complimentary monogram on all wallet orders (card, bifold & trifold) placed 6/12/15 — 6/20/15. Happy Fathers Day! Just use the code DAD when you check out.

Hot Shave from Parlour & Juke

I sent my husband and father here over the holiday, and my dad talked about it for days! Clearly, he loved it. Our recommendation? Ask for an appointment with Hobby!

Beardition – Father’s Day Bearded Gift Set

To be honest, I never even thought of care items for my man’s beard. However, now that I’m seeing the difference, I can’t belive I didn’t look for these earlier! This set includes their really good beard shampoo, even better beard conditioner, soft + sweet beard oil, bag, decal and button. Bonus: they are based in Nashville!

*DOUBLE Bonus: Beardition is partnering with Nashville Moms Blog to giveaway ONE Father’s Day Shave Set! Enter to win below!

SUP (Stand Up Paddling) at the Nashville Paddle Company

We went to dinner one night down on the Harpeth River, and I saw a whole group of people paddle boarding—or SUP. I thought, “What a cool thing to do with that special father in your life!” Or, you could send him with a group of friends. And Moms (and dads too, of course)? They have Floyo SUP Yoga. I can’t wait to get a group of my friends together to try that!

Cap from Otis James Nashville

I gave my hubby a tie from Otis James for Valentine’s Day and thought that Father’s Day would be the perfect time to get him one of their awesome caps. I love the color, and the style is classic.

VIP Tickets for Live on the Green Music Festival

We’ve gone to Live on the Green every year since we moved to Nashville and always have so much fun. It is a free concert, but in my opinion, it’s definitely worth upgrading to the VIP Pass. You get the best view of the stage and access to food and drinks. The lineup for 2015 hasn’t been announced yet, but stay tuned! It will be up soon (June 24).

Beer Tasting in Nashville – Nashville is home to many breweries and tap rooms. Take a tour, or just take him in to taste.  Our top picks include Fat Bottom Brewery, Jackalope Brewing Comany, Yazoo Brewing Company and Tennessee Brew Works.

Good Luck & Happy Father’s Day!

He is such a hard-worker who really takes care of his family. He not only needs it but deserves it.
