Pumpkin Patch Guide: Nashville and Surrounding Areas {2019}

We know that when this publishes it will technically still be Summer, and that the thermostats in your minivans are reading 97 degrees. Regardless, Fall will eventually make its way to Nashville! Here is our annual roundup of local pumpkin patches and when you can take your first hay ride. As always, remember that many of these are working farms and that hours can be affected by weather and extenuating circumstances, so always double check the info listed here before making the trek! 

Amazing Acres of Fun

2857 Old Kentucky Road, North Sparta, TN
September 22nd – November 3rd
September Hours:  Saturday 10am – 9 pm; Sunday 1:30 pm – 5pm
October Hours:  Saturday 10am – 9pm; Sunday 1:30pm – 5pm
November 3rd:  10am – 2pm
Need to Know: 12 & under can select a 3-6 pound pumpkin free with paid farm admission!

Bottom View Farm

185 Wilkerson Lane, Portland, TN
September 28th – October 31st, 8 am — 4 pm daily
Admission: $10 for anyone 3 & up; Students: $7; Teachers: FREE
Need to Know: The best time for the general public to visit is on the weekends, when all activities will be up and running. They do offer field trip rates, so please call them to learn more if you are taking a group from school! 

Boyds Pumpkin Patch

1425 Hwy 76, Clarksville, TN
Dates and  times for the 2019 season were not available at time of publishing.   
Admission for the corn maze: $5 for 6 years old & up
Need to Know: You pay for the pumpkins by the pound, and these will run you 25 cents per lb.

Cedarwood Farms

6794 Nashville Hwy, McMinnville, TN
September 21st – October 31st, Monday – Thursday, By appointment only; Fridays 8:30am – 10pm; Saturdays 9:30am – 10pm; & Sundays Noon – 5pm
Admission: 3yrs – 10yrs: $10; 11yrs and up: $12.00 (checks and cash only!)
Need to Know: Check out the Fall Store and Country Kitchen during your trip! 

Cooper Trooper Foundation

The Corner of Cool Springs Blvd and Mallory Lane – 530 Cool Springs Blvd, Franklin
October 5th – October 31st, Monday – Friday 10am – 7pm; Saturdays 9am – 8pm
Admission: There is no admission fee for the pumpkin patch. 100% of proceeds go toward pediatric cancer research and sibling support.
Need to Know: The Cooper Trooper Foundation was founded in 2008 after Cooper Cook was diagnosed with cancer at 8 weeks old.  To date, this foundation has donated $150,000 towards the pediatric cancer research fun at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. (By the way, Cooper is now a happy and healthy little boy!)

Fiddle Dee Farms /Shuckles Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

7526 Swift Road, Greenbrier, TN
September 28th – November 2nd. Thursday & Friday: Group Reservations; Friday: 6pm – 9pm; Saturday: 10am-9pm; Sunday: noon – 8pm 
General Admission, good for 1 visit: $12; Season passes, good for entire 2019 season: $24
Need to Know: There are several activities included with the general admission ticket! 

Gentry Farm

1974 New Highway 96 West, Franklin, TN
September 28th  – October 27th,  Mondays 9am – noon; Saturdays: 9am to 5 pm; Sundays: 1pm  to 5pm
Admission: Free for pumpkin patch; $8/person for the activity area, ages 2-65. Two free admissions with an active military ID. 
Need to Know: Last admission to the activity area is 4:15 PM on Saturdays and Sundays and 11:15am on Mondays.  Please allow 1-2 hours to enjoy all the farm has to offer.  Please note the farm closes promptly at the posted times.

Giles Farm

1425 Darnell Road, Herndon, KY
2019 opening weekend TBD
Admission is free! 
Need to know: Boots or closed-toe shoes strongly recommended for the the 3-acre traditional u-pick pumpkin field.

Grandaddys Farm

454 Highland Ridge Road, Estill Springs, TN
September 21st- November 2nd; Tuesdays – Thursdays 1:30pm – 6pm; Fridays 1:30 – 8pm; Saturdays 9am – 8pm
Admission: $12 for ages 3 & up. $30 for season passes
Need to Know:The Pig Races at Bacon Run are a must see when you visit the farm!

Honeysuckle Hill Farm

1765 Martins Chapel Church Road, Springfield, TN
September 21st – November 2nd, Please check website for hours. 
Admission: They have introduced multiple ticket packages, so check the website for a complete list!
Need to Know: They have more activities than we could possibly list here! MAKE SURE you see what they have to offer before planning your trip! 

Keller’s Farm

542 Firetower Road, Dickson, TN
October 1st – October 31st, Saturdays 10am – 5pm;  10am – 6pm; Sundays 11am-4pm; Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: 9am – 2pm. Open Monday – Thursday the week of Halloween
Admission: $9 per person, children 2 & under are free; Free admission with ACTIVE military ID
Need to Know: Pumpkins picked from the patch are .50 cents per pound. 

Lucky Ladd Farms

4374 Rocky Glade Road, Eagleville, TN
September 18th – November 1st. Hours are dependent on month. Please check website. 
Admission: Adults and Teens: $14; 2 – 12 years: $12; Children under 2: Free
Need to Know: Did you know that Lucky Ladd farms is over 60 acres?! 

Lyon Family Farms

130 Bellview Road, Taft, TN
September 20th – November 2nd; Wednesday – Friday 1pm– 7pm; Saturdays 9am – 6pm; Sundays 1pm – 6pm
Admission: Multiple prices – check website for full info
Need to Know: Don’t just go for pumpkin – pick some sunflowers while you’re at it! 

Mrs. B’s Pumpkin Patch

1946 Murfreesboro Pike, Lebanon, TN
September 29th – October 31st, Saturdays 10am – 5pm; Sundays 11am – 5pm
Admission: $15 for ages 1-15; Adult admission is free! That includes the cost of a child’s pumpkin and all activities.
Need to Know: Other pumpkins, gourds, mums, cornstalks and straw will also be for sale

Nashville Pumpkin Co.

Two locations: 12 South and Hillsboro High School
Specific dates and  hours not noted on website
Need to Know: You can also pick up your Fall flowers and ornamental gourds!

Pumpkin Paradise

Need to Know: They also have kid’s movie nights for just $5 a ticket! 

Ring Farm

The Wilson Family Farm

Walden Farm

September 21st – October 31st, Closed Wednesdays; Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays 3pm – 6:30pm; Saturdays 9am – 6:30pm; Sundays noon – 4pm
Admission: Free admission to the farm. Admission for the activity area varies, depending on the activity. Check the website for full details!
Need to Know: Circa 1850’s log cabin also available for group reservations and birthday parties!
